Besides the good looks of the truck, a new V8 engine and transmission were installed at the time of the restoration. There is less than 15000 miles on this restoration, so it has been driven less than 1000 miles per year. The transmission is equipped with a shift kit to give nice firm shifts and increase the life of the trans. Headers with a complete dual exhaust system were also added to give the V8 that classic muscle sound everybody loves to hear. Under the bed cover is a wood bed. Inside, the interior looks just as fresh as the day the restoration was completed. The truck is ready for use as a daily driver or it can be used as a weekend toy.
