The 69 Mustang was basically a carry- over from the 68 model year. 69 introduced the much larger and wider body which many consider a departure from its pony car roots. This 1969 is a great entry level car that can be driven and enjoyed. The 250 CI straight 6 is what the car originally came with. Detailed and looking great under the hood the blue paint is factory correct and shows nicely. The C4 automatic is a great transmission that is sure to last for a long time to come. While under there you will most likely notice that huge compressor on the passenger side. This is a super rare car being that it’s a cylinder with factory air. An almost 400 dollar option was absurd given the car was only 2600 to begin with. The hub caps are period correct and look great with the chrome bumper having no signs of ageing. Open the door and the black interior is very clean with the bucket seats being very comfortable. The automatic shifter comes out of the floor giving it a very sporty feel. If you have wanted to get into the collector car hobby but don't want to spend your savings to get one this little pony is a great candidate.
