For sale at Gateway Classic Cars, and located in our Houston showroom is one cool and unique 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle sedan. 1971 marked the year when the Chevelle/Malibu line up went from the quad headlights to the dual look. The Chevelle has been one of the most popular classic cars with the automotive community for several decades and it doesn’t seem to be slowing down in popularity.

This '71 Chevelle for sale was spared no expense on its interior's restoration, with a new $4000 custom vinyl interior over new black carpet, which it received in 2016. It has two-tone vinyl bench seats in the front & rear with custom Chevy logo’s made into the seat. The carpet, dash, headliner, & door panels are all in excellent like new condition. The sporty-looking seats really give this Chevy that GM muscle look. The car has an updated CD player radio that is hooked up to several speakers in the cab providing all the tunes you’ll need while cruising down the road. A couple of extra Autometer gauges on each side of the radio keep the oil pressure & temp readings close.

Powering this 4-door muscle car down the road is a 350 CID V8 crate motor that was purchased from Jasper Motors in Texas & was installed a few years back with only 22,000 MILES on it since then! Backing the peppy mouse motor is a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission that shifts very smoothly with no issues. Its custom dual exhaust has a menacing rumble, and it COULD get you undesired attention those who Protect and Serve! The car runs extremely well and does not need anything to start enjoying it.

Its exterior, bathed in a gleaming silver with accented with SS tribute stripes. The car was professionally repainted in 2015. The exterior trim & bumpers are in great condition. The glass and other body panels are also in great shape. No rust on the car to mention. The trunk is finished and very clean, the car’s body is straight & true, & from the front or back you won’t even notice the extra 2 doors!
