With Ford wanting to outperform its competitors, the Mustang saw its first major redesign to compete with the Firebird, Cougar, Barracuda and Camaro. Some new additions to the Mustang were the painted side scoops to match the car, the grille opening being made bigger and the tail lights were now bigger and concave. A total of 472,121 Mustangs were produced for the 1967 model year. This beauty has been rebuilt twice with the most recent being in 1996 but has been driven less than 500 miles since the rebuild. This monster is equipped with a 302 bored to 311 C.I.D V8 along with a 4 speed close ratio top loader that was built by Dan Williams Transmission. The build consists of roller rockers, mild cam, Headman Headers, 750 cfm Holley projection throttle body, ’88 Daytona seats, fiberglass hood, fiberglass spoilered trunk, rear fender end caps, disc brake in front, hood mounted tachometer, Global West Engineering front and rear and a 9†3.25:1 Posi-Trac rear end. The exterior and interior are done in the matching colors of Yellow Jacket and Black.
