The engine is an all stock 350 V8 with Crossfire Injection and a Turbo 350 automatic transmission. In 1982 when this car was made, they released the Commodore 64 computer and the first CD player by Sony. The shift was so significant that Time Magazine named The Computer as the person of year. The same year Prince William was born and Michael Jackson topped the charts with the Thriller album. In 1982 the Corvette marked the last year of the Third Generation. Chevrolet introduced a fuel injected engine for the first time in 17 years. The new 700R4 transmission came with a lower first and second gear for quicker acceleration and a 4th gear overdrive that lowered engine rpm by 30% on the highway. This Corvette has stood the test of time through proper care and careful storage. Over the years it has had a fresh paint job in the original white color and to this day looks amazing. The car has the stock alloy wheels on all four corners with period correct tires. Inside this beauty you will find the leather is in beautiful condition.
