The 5.3L Vortech V8 has been treated to a Texas Speed Stage 3 cam (.550" lift with a 111-degree LSA), and is backed by a 4-speed automatic. The new ECM has been custom programmed by Bob's Automotive for the engine/trans/rear end setup, so it's already dialed in to provide a great balance of power and drivability. The engine is kept cool by a giant aluminum radiator with 2 electric fans, enhancing overall reliability. The wiring is new, as are the fuel lines, fuel tank, bushings, springs, shocks, and 4-wheel disc brakes. A complete CVF serpentine accessory drive system cleans up the front of the engine and simplifies belt changes. This bad boy also features custom LED halo headlights with integrated turn signals, and with its blacked out trim, combine to give this Firebird a truly unique custom look. It's riding on low profile 17-inch performance radials on custom 5-spoke aluminum wheels. Underneath, there's a custom dual exhaust system, and the undercarriage has been given a Lizard Skin undercoating for corrosion protection. Inside, there's a custom Dakota Digital electronic analog gauge package, hidden LEDs under the center console, and nearly everything is new. From the new headliner down, it has received a laundry list of "news": new visors, new mirrors, new sound system (featuring a hidden amp/subwoofer enclosure in the trunk) with new head unit and three-way parcel shelf speakers, new center console (featuring Quilted Fiddleback Maple inserts, which have had its grain "book matched" from the center console out and up the custom door panel inserts), custom "split" rear seat (to take advantage of the full length console), new custom diamond tuck pleated synthetic leather seating, new carpet, new seatbelts, and Dynamat throughout (under the carpet and on inside of all panels). The door glass is original (right down to the Firebird logo on the driver's window), but the windshield and rear glass is new. There's a new Lokar shifter, new steering wheel, new door handles, hinges, and mirrors.
