In addition to its sharp paint scheme, which is a neat pearl white over bright gold, it has a lowered stance, which projects a mildly menacing look. Even its original style wheels have been painted to match the predominant body color, adding a nice touch. Under the hood is a crate 350 CID V8, which is topped by an Edelbrock 4BBL carb. Headers funnel into a Flowmaster-equipped dual exhaust system, which provides the muscular sound you'd expect from a vintage Chevy pickup. Backing the smallblock is a GM TH350 3-speed automatic transmission, which sends power to the 12-bolt rear end. Cooper Cobra radials get the power to the ground and improve handling. Drivers will appreciate the power brakes and power steering. Inside, a newer bench seat provides a nice custom touch, with cupholders integrated into the back of the center seat leanback, so when you're not riding full up, you've got a place for your bevvy! The white synthetic leather seating surfaces and interior trim panels continue the exterior colors scheme and look quite sharp. A 3-gauge cluster provides clear readout of oil pressure, volts, and coolant temperature, and the thick wood rimmed steering wheel feels good in the hands. The black carpet is in good shape and adds a nice contrast in the interior. An AM/FM/CD player has been added, along with speakers behind the seat, which is possible because the fuel tank has been relocated from behind the seats to under its wood bed. The relocated fuel tank and seat belts certainly improve occupant safety, too. The fuel filler neck is accessed via a clever fuel door in the right side of the bed. Speaking of the wood bed, it's in good shape, with little wear, and instead of the usual chrome hold-down strips, the ones in this unit have been painted to match the gold lower body.
