Gateway Classic Cars Houston Showroom is excited to present this smoking hot Siren Red 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle. Between the aggressive powerplant and the nice paint, this car is ready to hit the road. Under the hood of this way cool Chevelle is a 350 CID V8, which is topped by an Edelbrock 4BBL carb, aluminum intake, and aluminum Edelbrock Performer RPM heads. The engine runs smoothly and pulls very nicely when accelerating, thanks to the enhanced Mallory ignition. Headers funnel the exhaust into a Flowmaster muffler-equipped dual exhaust setup, which allows this beast to breathe like a muscle car should. Backing the mighty mouse motor is a GM TH350 3-speed automatic transmission, which is enhanced with a heavy-duty flex plate and a 2500 RPM stall speed torque converter. This classic combination sends the power back to the GM 10-bolt rear end, which gets it to the street every time you stab the go pedal. Look inside and things just keep getting better. The black vinyl bucket seats up front and bench in back are in great shape. The Pioneer AM/FM/CD Bluetooth head unit and new speakers will have you blasting out your favorite songs from back in the day. Topping off the interior is cold a/c for cruising the summer nights. The red paint looks good, and its contrasting black racing stripes add to the "muscle mystique" that the car brings to the street. It rides on a set of REV Aluminum wheels, which are wrapped with Tiger Paw Touring radials, size P255/55R18 in the rear, and P235/55R17 up front. The staggered wheels and tires add that muscle car stance that you fell in love with many years ago. With a rebuilt front end, and SSBC front brakes upgrade, including dual piston dual piston calipers, adjustable proportioning valve, and slotted rotors up front, this Chevelle is fun to drive. Although it's badged as an SS, proving it is a 1971 SS is much more difficult without the original build sheet, which is not available; so although it might be a tribute or it might be a real SS, your keister will not know the difference. This ground-pounding 1971 Chevelle is not going to last long, so if the icon of the 1970 muscle cars is what you're looking for, act quickly!
