Vinyl InteriorGateway Classic Cars Houston showroom is very pleased to present this "C code" 1966 Ford Mustang convertible. This 1966 Mustang is a true 289 CID 2 bbl car from the factory and is mated up with the 4 speed manual transmission, making it ready for some fun in the sun! While we are unsure of the mileage, the title from the state of Arizona issued to the current owners in 2005 shows the mileage to be 44,722 miles (however, we cannot verify that this is the mileage), but we do know that this is a true 289 convertible that is currently showing 46,468 miles on the odometer. It is clear that this Mustang has had at least 1 repaint and still shows really well. The all new hydraulic top frame and canvas top were both replaced in late 2017, including the hydraulics, along with a complete R134 A/C system and a new rear leaf spring set up. The wheels are 16" American Racing Torque Thrust style aluminum alloys and the original radio was replaced with a Jensen AM/FM/Cassette. The white vinyl interior and white canvas top are a striking contract to the bright red paint and the custom wheels wrap up the overall appearance. This is a nice 1st gen. Mustang for a weekend driver, or a really good start to take it to the next level of restoration. With the current market doing what it has been, this one will certainly not be available for long! Options include: A/C, power steering, power brakes (front disc), automatic top, AM/FM/Cass, aluminum alloys.
