Despite Mattel releasing their die cast model several weeks before it's unveiling by Chevrolet, the C3 Corvette release stunned and changed the quintessential American Muscle car in design and boosted engine performance forever. New design elements included fender flares, eggcrete grill with matching front fender side vents, larger squared front directional lamps, dual exhausted size increase and rectangular shaping and provided a more comfortable ride with new redesigned bucket seats.
This gorgeous deep grey Corvette pays homage to the original Mako design color and features chrome accented hood, chrome luggage rack and gorgeous lines. The original LS5 engine, a gorgeous 454 V-8, purrs with 390 horsepower and 500 lbs ft torque. Showcasing the rare shoulder belts and a custom soundbar sound system cleverly installed under the hood storage this convertible dream car comes with the hardtop and cover.
