1969 Plymouth GTX

Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this classic 1969 Plymouth GTX. The GTX was based on the Belvedere and was in production from 1967-1971. The '69 model featured optional Air Grabber hood which had functional openings on both sides of the hood and controlled through the dash.

This beauty is powered by the original 440 CID V8. The engine is paired to 3-speed automatic transmission both of which were rebuilt roughly 24,000 miles ago. This beauty has been registered in the “Galen's Registry" and is #250 of 324 registered as of 2015. Remaining in nearly all original condition this car is in great shape and a true piece of American history. The car also features 3:23 Gears running through the 8.75 rear end.

The car is still holding onto what is believed to be the original paint which is a Saddle Bronze Metallic. Walking around the car you will find the car features a sleek black vinyl top and remains in good condition. Another nice GTX feature is the matte black stripes running across the hood giving the car a much more aggressive appearance.

The interior is the car is in original condition with saddle tan vinyl seats. This car looks nearly as clean as it did, rolling off the sales floor in 1969 and would look great in anyone's garage. The car also features one of the most critical must haves when living in the south, Cold A/C!
