The 4-4-2 originates from the car being a four-barrel carb, four speed, with dual exhaust. Being one of Oldsmobile's most iconic classic muscle cars, these beauties are still sought after today.
This 442 is powered by a 400 CID V8 which appears to be the original block to the car. With Aluminum heads, and an Air gap high rise, the engine is presented well. The engine has been paired up to a Turbo 350 transmission that allows you to get through the powerband quickly. The power is driven to the ground through the Posi-track rear end which also has 3.93 gears.
Painted in a Tropical Sunset Orange, it's hard not to turn you head for this car. While it may not be the nicest 442 on the road, it's certainly capable of being a solid driver. With good bones, there is also a lot of potential for the car as well.
