The 1978 Indy 500 Pace car was also the 25th anniversary of the Corvette, and this example features a number matching L48 350 CID small block engine paired to a 3-speed automatic. This L48 car was destined for High altitude/California so it puts out roughly 175HP vs the standard 185HP. Only 6,502 of these limited-edition pace cars were built making them rarer as time goes on.
