1967 Chevrolet Chevelle

Up for sale in our Houston showroom is a beautiful example of the 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle. Introduced for the 1964 model year as Chevrolets way to compete with the Ford Fairlane, the Chevelle has been one of Chevy’s most successful nameplates at the mid-size automobile class. Chevelles were offered in a number of different body styles including coupes, sedans, convertibles and station wagons. The 1966 and 67’ Chevelle brought a new body style, sitting on a GM “A” body frame. The 1967 models got some styling tweaks that resulted in a longer, more straightforward appearance. Large wraparound taillamps went into a new rear end with standard backup lights. Front disc brakes were available on all models, and a new dual master cylinder brake system incorporated a warning light. This particular Chevelle is coated in a beautiful bright Red exterior with a very fresh Red vinyl interior. The outside is what catches your eye but it isn’t til you look under the hood you see it is stomping the ground with a powerful 454 C.I.D V8 pumping 400 horsepower and is complimented with a 700R4 4 speed automatic transmission with overdrive. Around the engine bay is very nicely detailed chrome that you can practically eat off. Willwood disc brakes on the front and back look phenomenal with 17” Foose wheels in front and 18” on the back, giving this gorgeous Chevelle a great stance.
