The Shelby GT350 uses a standard Mustang GT as the base for its extensive tuning magic. With the GT350 being born in 1965 as a 1965 Shelby GT350 and if you find an authentic/original 1965 Gt350 these cars can easily fetch over a quarter of a million. In 2011, Shelby American reintroduced the standard GT Mustang w/ the Shelby GT350 option like the original. Offered in Gloss White w/ Blue stripes. Manufacture calls the GT350 a “ post title” package, which means it started out as a stock GT Mustang from the manufacturer then modified outside the manufacturer. The third iteration of this legendary Mustang has been limited number of only 350 Mustangs. Some small changes were made to the front appearance and received mechanically was a transition from Baer brake units to Wilwood Brakes and a set of Recaro Seats. For 2011, the 45th Anniversary edition only came in coupe form and was painted white with blue stripes, just as with the 1965 car. The 2012 GT350 was offered as a coupe or convertible, and three colors were added to the option list, just like the 1966 model. For 2013, more colors and options were added in addition to equipment and styling updates, which resulted in Wilwood instead of Baer brakes.
