Toyota started production of the Land Cruiser FJ45 in 1960 and began importing them to the US in 1963. The last US-bound FJ-45 rolled off the line in 1986, but they made a brief comeback as a modern SUV in the US called the FJ Cruiser from 2006 to 2014. From 1963 to 1983 the FJ45 saw little change aesthetically, the only real changes were improvements in technology mechanically. The classic FJs are as comfortable on a trail as they are on the highway because they were designed to do anything you could ever ask it to do and do it well. This FJ45 has a beefy 2F inline 6-cylinder engine and has only 71000 miles on it mated to a 4x4 4 speed Manual Transmission. The BROWN body, paint and vinyl grey interior are all immaculate and look brand spanking new! Adding to the fresh look of the paint are the newer alloy wheels with All Terrain Tires. Inside you'll find folding bench seats behind the passenger and driver seats. These folding seats made carrying additional passengers easy, but also allowed for maximum cargo space, as opposed to the folding rear seat in the Jeep CJ series.
