The 65’ Model year was introduced with a heavily restyled front fascia and grille, which now sported turn signals between the grille and the hood. This also, was the introduction of the Twin-I-Beam front suspension, which most know was a staple for Ford light-duty trucks until 1996. This particular truck is a short-bed version and has with stood the test of time and remained extremely solid despite of its current age. It comes with a 460 cubic inch V-8, significantly increasing the HP to the wheels (from the stock model) and giving you plenty of “uhmph!†and response when touching the gas pedal. As well as it has been converted from a manual transmission to automatic. The bed-liner was excellently cared for when equipped with a spray in bed liner, keeping it preserved but in working/usable order for many years to come.
