For sale in our Dallas/Fort Worth showroom is a very cool 1957 Chevrolet Nomad. Tri-Fives have become a symbol of Americana. From four doors, to two doors, to wagons, and convertibles, they're are loveable and enjoyable in their own way. Perhaps the most sought after, is the two door wagon known as a Nomad. The Nomad has a sleeker and sportier look than most wagons with its tilted forward B-Pillars and dramatic sloping rear tailgate. There's no question this sporty wagon has a beautiful silhouette that a whole generation can relate to. This particular Nomad has been spruced up with some tasteful touches, and undergone a very extensive restoration. The exterior is finished in a deep, dark black, with gorgeous stainless bright work down the sides. You would never believe it was done in the early 90’s unless we told you, that’s how good this paint looks. It sits on 15†gold wire wheels, which really make the rest of the gold trim pop off the sides of this car. Pop the hood, you’ll find what is believed to be the original 283 that has been bored 0.060 over with a mild cam in it to give a little extra grunt. The interior is two-tone to match the exterior with a very unique upholstery pattern. They certainly don't make interiors like they used to. This Nomad was restored about 15 years ago and has held up well since. If you're looking for a tri-five that will draw a crowd wherever you go, it's gotta be a Nomad. This Chevy is the perfect mix of high end panache and classic 50’s gusto. To view this vehicle in greater detail including HD pictures and videos, visit: www.GatewayClassicCars.com.
