A Story from the Current owner is as Follows,

"My father in law bought the GT6 in November 1984 from a seller in Alford, Tx. His title showed that the car had 44883 miles at the time. Purchased as a parts car for his Triumph Spitfire, it wasn't long after that the vehicle went on Cinderblocks in the garage.

In 2018/2019, our father decided to clean out his garage so I could have a project. I had some friends who helped me tow it over and we replaced the rear springs, tires and did just enough other work to see if the car could run. And it did. So I got some estimates, and took it to MC Bodyworks in Ovilla. We decided to take the car's paint off down to bare metal and complete body work that needed to be addressed. I wanted to restore the original paint color (code 54 - laurel green), but by mistake, the body was painted British Racing Green...but i liked it better. We also removed the chrome elements and the front/rear bumpers to improve the overall look of the car, but modifications were needed to the front hood (bonnet). While MC Bodyworks was working on the body, my friend and I worked on the frame (painting it laurel green) and the engine (cleaning it, repairing the oil-pan seal, etc...). MC Bodyworks repainted the frame to BRG to match the body, also painted the underbody with a black rubberized coating, then I received the vehicle.

From there, this Triumph went to British Auto in Haltom City for further repairs, with the instructions to redo the wiring and get the vehicle to a "drivable and pass inspection" status."
