Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is excited to offer this actual piece of Koren War History. The Dodge M37 3/4 ton 4x4 truck was introduced in 1951 and used extensively in the Korean War. Prototypes were based on the WC series Dodge vehicles used in World War II. Notable changes included a conventional pickup bed replacing the platform on the older vehicles that simplified production. At a 5,917 lbs curb weight, this 1956 example is a serious vehicle! Power was originally supplied by an inline 6 Dodge flat Head plant rated at 78 hp. This M37 has been updated to include a 350 CID Chevrolet V8 mated to a 3 Speed Automatic transmission. The owner recently finished a frame off nut and bolt restoration of this truck, taking everything apart to the nuts and bolts, painting it, and reassembling. Additional features include a modern radio, 12v electronics, and more! This cool military truck has legit war history.
