Gateway Classic Cars DFW is excited to present an awesome 1976 Ford F-100 1976, 400CI MOTOR, 4 SPEED MANUAL, NICE WHEELS, POWER STEERING, BRIGHT RED PAINT. This truck gets the job done. Big, bright, and brutal, this 1976 Ford F100 4x4 is ready to work, play, or just take you just about anywhere you want to go, thanks to 4-wheel-drive and a big, honkin' 400 under the hood. Great looks don't hurt, either. In the '70s, if you needed stuff hauled, no matter how big, this was how you did it. As a result, finding a truck that hasn't been bashed and worked to within an inch of its life is no easy task Fortunately, this one seems to have led an easier life of leisure, perhaps scouting remote hunting grounds or trekking across fields to get to a private fishing spot. The bright red paint is extremely well done and shows very little wear, and by truck standards, It's almost too nice. 'There's no rust thanks to a lifetime in the sun, and it appears to be wearing all its original sheet metal, so It's not like this Is some wreck that was rebuilt No, it's just a really clean heavy-duty pickup that's ready for new adventures. The chrome is still shiny, the diamond-plate rear bumper makes it look purposeful, and there is a minimum of add-ons to spoil the looks: no lights, no roll bar, no graphics, just a cool, clean truck with a 78 Grill and eyeball-searing paint. There's also a hard-shell tonneau cover that turns the bed into a secure cargo bay, complete with a spray-in bed liner. Black and red is the theme inside, where a fresh seat cover for the bench offers comfortable accommodations for three. The carpeted floors add an upscale feel and help control noise and heat, and those carpets are protected by heavy-duty rubber mats. The vintage steering wheel looks great, and while the original instruments are still intact, an auxiliary temperature gauge has been installed under the dash. You're also going to dig the 4-speed manual gearbox, which makes this truck a lot of fun to drive. The second lever is for the two-speed transfer case, and the entertainment system has been upgraded with a Vintage AM/FM stereo with USB and auxiliary connections with speakers in the doors. And no pickup truck is complete without a sliding rear window, which provides draft-free ventilation that's so good you won't often think of using the A/C, although it's there if you need it. This Is a big truck, but fortunately, there's a big VS to move it around. The 400 is nicely dressed in bright Ford Blue paint along with a chrome Edelbrock air cleaner on top. There's a 4-barrel high-performance carburetor underneath and a set of long-tube headers, which all help with moving that much truck and there's plenty of torque for when the going really gets rough. With a recent tune-up, it starts easily and runs well, and the rumble from the Flowmaster dual exhaust system sounding more like a vintage muscle car than a big pickup. The nicely finished chassis is heavy-duty enough to go just about anywhere, and with manual locking hubs, you don't have to worry about fragile parts getting broken at the least opportune moment Along with the vintage appeal of currently installed wheels and new all-terrain tires, so you can customize the fun!!!!. This truck is definitely up for whatever you're looking to do, and thanks to the heavy-duty hardware, you'll never have to worry about getting stuck. Call today!
