Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is excited to present for Sale a One-Owner 1998 Chevrolet Corvette Z51 6 Speed Convertible.

Finding a great deal on a low mileage 1998 Chevrolet Corvette is always a welcomed proposition. But when this sports car icon has been well taken care of, and it comes in a distinct color combo, well then, you know you are looking at something quite special.

The factory original shade of Nassau Blue still looks great today thanks to years of care. Besides being a quite rare color and more than just novelty, it has a deep luster that looks like a bright shiny emerald when the sunshine hits the body. Corvette enthusiasts particularly love their cars, and so the level of care goes beyond the mileage. The whole body is free from the typical kind of scuff marks that come from daily driving or bad parking spots. Instead, this one was carefully tucked away in the garage after special journeys. In fact, they knew this car was special, so it was given extra flair in places that matter: Performance!

The LS1 was balanced and blueprinted. It has ported/polished LS6 heads (effectively making it an LS6), with mild street cam, tune, and headers/full Corsa exhaust (opens up at 3k, quiet while cruising). This was their “500 hp NA package." This makes for a NA motor with dyno-proven 480 hp at the crank, 415 at the wheels. It revs to almost 7k and loves it. Sounds amazing. This was done in about 2006 but the car has had only 10k put on it since that time. The one owner has made many improvements over the last few years including C6 Z06 shocks, c6 z51 sway bars with new tie rod ends, NEW slave master cylinder, and LS7 clutch done in the last 2k miles. The car also has Corbeau A4 seats, stainless steel brake lines, drilled and slotted rotors, and an MGW shifter. It does suffer from the same ECBM controller failure that every C5 faces, but the owner has included a 2004 Module with the sale.

Offered for Sale with the Original Window Sticker, Original Sales Receipt, etc, this well-kept Corvette is offered by our Dallas Gateway Classic Cars Showroom, and can be reached by phone at 817-310-9400, email
