It did more than compete. It outsold the Corvette 23:1 in the first year and was a huge success in the personal luxury catagory it helped create. T-Birds have inspired songs, been the stars of movies, and are considered all around cool cars! This beautiful example is painted Thunderbird Blue with a Blue and White interior and has both hard and brand new soft top. A frame off restoration was performed 10 years and 15,000 miles ago and the car still shows well. In fact, the car just made its rounds at locals car shows and picked up a few awards this year! Loaded with options including AM radio, manual convertible tops, power brakes, power steering, power seats, vinyl interior, seat belts, tilt, wide white wall radial tires, Thunderbird hub caps, and a fan clutch was added.
