1967 Mustang for sale in the Detroit showroom. This 1967 Mustang was built for the 2003 Children\'s Leukemia benefit raffle and is the one and only WCSX Radio \'Stone Soup\' Mustang! The Mustang has a lot of history to it and owner has a full record of the car. This 67 Pro Street Mustang is powered by a Roush 347R engine, based on the famous Ford 5.0L engine, pushing 430 Horsepower and 415 ft-lb. of torque! A Demon 650 carburetor, Edlebrock intake, MSD Ignition, chrome alternator, aluminum radiator, Hedman headers into Flowmaster dual exhaust, MSD ignition, and March pullies. Backing that monster engine is a built C4 3-speed automatic transmission with a Hurst ProMatic 2 ratchet shifter and Coan converter running to a narrowed Ford 9 inch rear end with 3.98 gear ratio and a four link suspension with adjustable coil over shocks. Master Power 4 wheel disc brakes provide the stopping power, and steering is handled by a Heidts adjustable front suspension. This very special car was given a custom paint color called Stone Soup Wineberry Metallic, and it shows beautifully! The Mustang unibody was transformed to a full tube racing roll cage frame with tubbed rear wheel houses and the quarter panel wheel openings were widened 3-inches. This was all done to squeeze in American Racing Torque Thrust D racing mags with 29 inch wide Mickey Thompson tires in back making sure all 430 horsepower get to the ground! Inside Recaro racing seats, a roll cage with Recaro padding, and RJS harnesses keep the driver safe while custom gauges, Vintage Air conditioning system, Blaupunkt AM/FM/CD player, and the deluxe interior with brushed aluminum door panels, dash, and transmission tunnel let you ride in style. Painless wiring systems, JME Metal Works, Auto Meter, and Ford Racing also pitched in with this custom build, so no expense was spared. The fuel cell and dual batteries are mounted in the trunk with a battery disconnect. The raffling of this amazing pro street 67 Mustang raised over $100,000 and earned this car and its builders nationwide recognition.
