Vinyl InteriorThis 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe is for sale in our Detroit showroom. This car was bought in New Mexico and then treated to a complete restoration. The body was dipped to remove all rust. The hood, front fenders and deck lid were replaced with New Old Stock parts. The 289 V-8 has been completely rebuilt, bored and balanced. New Ford Motorsports pistons swing from the crank of this 289 V-8. An aggressive Ford Motorsports camshaft with new lifters have been installed during the rebuild. Sitting on top of the 289 V-8 is a Holley 650 carburetor. The original iron heads have been replaced with Ford Motorsport aluminum heads with larger valves. The exhaust exit the heads through Hedman headers, and has a very healthy sound. To handle the power of this freshly built 289 is a C-4 3-speed automatic transmission rebuilt by JPT. JPT usually build transmissions for Ford Racing, so you know it will be ready to handle what is thrown at it. To insure this little Mustang will stop, with extra power, the suspension has been upgrade, and the front brakes have been upgraded to disc. Options on this classic Ford include: AM/FM Radio, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Raised White Letters Radial Tires, and Weld Racing Prostar polished aluminum wheels riding Goodyear Eagle tires.
