Gateway Classic Cars of Detroit is proud to present this 1967 Pontiac GTO convertible. The first generation of the GTO is credited as popularizing the muscle car market segment in the 1960s. The Pontiac GTO is considered by some to have started the trend of the muscle car craze. This 67 GTO is finished in Regimental Red with a Parchment vinyl interior. The white convertible top really sets this car off, but I'm sure this top will spend most of its time down for some fun in the sun. Under the hood you get the 400ci with a 4 barrel Edelbrock 750cfm carb, and MSD ignition. That power is mated to a M-21 4-speed transmission that was rebuilt by Livernois, a reputable company in the Detroit area.
A full restoration was done and has less than 4,000 miles and it shows. New interior, bumpers, tires, radiator, electric fan just to name a few. Also you have a UMI Performance rear suspension with tubular control arms.
This 67 GTO has had the same owner for 37 years now, and has a restoration book to show all the work that has been done to this machine as well.
If you're looking for a drop top first gen GTO, look no further!
