This Corvette is a custom build with only the “Bird Cage Firewall and windshield frame with vin #" as the seller puts it, remaining from the 74 car. It is as he says a 1968 Corvette Pro Street Roadster. The 1968 body that now sits on the car has been modified. Josh Powers flares 2" in front and 4" in rear. The bumpers and side markers have been removed and glassed in. Fender vents have been out verted and screened. The high-rise hood has been added to accommodate the high-rise intake. The mirrors are 77 to 82 Sport. This beauty is painted with Ditzler “Hot Rod Black" with a Satin stripe on the nose and hood. Gravel Guard on lower rear quarters panels to help prevent chips “Dominion Sure Seal LTD". There is a red stripe on the firewall as well. The wheels are Billet Specialties Street Lites. This corvette is equipped with Vintage air conditioning and has a 6-point roll cage. The suspension includes SPC performance adjustable upper control arms and Savitske adjustable upper A arms and ball joints. Performance upgrades are highlighted by Ceramic coated Hooker headers and side pipes, Holley 950 quick fuel, and all braided fuel lines. The rear has 3:70 gears, the transmission is a turbo 400 with a 3000RPM stahl converter. The brakes are Wilwood all around including the Master cylinder and of course drilled and slotted rotors. The list of modifications for this Corvette is like an endless shopping list that goes on and on. Oh yea, there is also a convertible hard top for the car.
