For the Mustang, the restyle in 1969 "added more heft to the body as width and length again increased. Weight went up markedly too. Due to the larger body and revised front-end styling, the 1969 models (but less so in 1970) had a notable aggressive stance. The 1969 models featured "quad headlamps" which disappeared to make way for a wider grille and a return to standard headlamps in the 1970 models. This switch back to standard headlamps was an attempt to tame the aggressive styling of the 1969 model, which some felt was too extreme and hurt sales, but 1969 production exceeded the 1970 total. The 1969 Ford Mustang was a force to be reckoned with! That statement stands true to this day.
This 1969 Ford Mustang Convertible has been beefed up to say the least. Powering this beauty is a Ford Motorsports 5.0L Fuel Injected Engine with aluminum heads, roller cam, and GT intake. The transmission is a built AOD automatic with a street friendly torque converter. A Ford 9-inch rear axle and like new tires and wheels put the power to the road. All these items were new when installed less than 5000 miles ago. The exterior has a newer paint job, done in a beautiful PPG Blue, that will surely grad the attention of everyone as you cruise past. Complementing the exterior paint is the high-end black fabric top, updated black leather interior, including 2012 Mustang bucket seats.
