Vinyl Interior1965 Chevrolet Corvette for sale in the Detroit showroom. This 1965 Corvette is powered by a 327 CID V8 and 2-speed power glide transmission. Option include AM/FM radio, power steering, power brakes, and vinyl interior. This beautiful Corvette had a off the frame restoration 15 years ago and has only had 15,000 miles put on it since. All stainless exhaust and brake lines have also been done to the car also. Base Corvettes had a 327 that was rated at 250 horsepower, but there were also three modified versions of the engine. One was rated at 300 horsepower, while the other used a different carburetor, a Holley, to bump up the rating to 365 horsepower. But the top of the 327’s was the fuel-injected engine, which produced 375 horsepower. Most Corvette fans welcomed the newly standard four-wheel disc brakes, though the car did come with the option of a $64.50 credit to those who chose to eliminate this standard feature. 316 Corvettes were ordered without the disc brakes in 1965.
