The C4 corvette was lower and leaner than its predecessor. The drive train was starting to get out of the lull they were in for the last decade and was starting to take performance serious again. This 1988 Chevrolet Corvette is only on its second owner and has been meticulously cared for over the years and never saw a single winter. Under the hood lies a 350 cubic inch Tuned Port injection engine pushing out 245HP stock and is hooked to an automatic transmission providing smooth transitions between gears. The drive train only has an easy 72,000 miles on it and drives like it did when it came off the lot nearly 30 years ago. As you ease on into this car, the performance feel is everywhere. The seats will hug you and keep you centered no matter how hard you throw it into a corner; the center of gravity is very low and grips the corners better than nearly anything of the time. This is a great Corvette for someone who is not willing to spend a fortune, but still wants something sleek looking and performs like one of its much more expensive competitors.
