Design elements like the clean nose panel and headlights that are flush to the corners. Other design updated for the '87 Mustang included the revised ground effects, with a large and low air intake, large fog lights, and vents ahead of each wheel. Out back, the rear spoiler/luggage rack had a cleaner look. Many of these changes were to improve the aerodynamics of the Mustang, and as a result the drag coefficient was improved. This 5.0 example has the blue with white interior combination along with a white convertible top. The 5.0 302 engine is paired with a 5 speed manual with the LS rear end and 2.73:1 gear ratios. It has A/C, cruise control, AM/FM cassette stereo. Aluminum alloy wheels with raised white letter tires, power steering, power locks and power brakes. Summer is right around the corner and this is the perfect top down cruising machine!
