Only 1,000 miles on a complete custom build, this GMC Jimmy has plenty to offer! Let’s start by addressing the elephant in the room, yes that is a massive blower sticking out of the hood! Sitting just underneath the Dyers 671 blower is a 350 cubic inch small block Chevrolet with a mild build still running on pump gas, and on top, a pair of Demon carburetors. The dual carbs are fed by an Aeromotive fuel system to prevent any starvation no matter if it is simply cruising or laying into the throttle. This set up looks mean and nasty with a sound to match! Keeping this whole set up cool is a set of electric fans that prevent any drivability issues. On the back of the small block is a 700R4 transmission to make cruising at higher speeds a breeze and controlling the shifting from the cabin is a B&M pro bandit shifter. Finally putting that power to the massive rear tires is a 9†Ford rear end with 4.11 gears connected to a triangulated 4-link suspension. This truck was not built just with performance in mind though, there was a lot of time and energy getting the looks just right as well. Contributing to this look is a frame that was C-notched 18†to lay the frame right to the ground when parked. Bringing it back up to cruising height is an air ride system on all corners. The air ride not only lets you control the ride height, but also allows you to adjust the ride quality to suite your drive. Shaving the door handles, body lines, roof rack, taillights, engine bay, and replacing the bumper with a roll pan cleans everything up nicely and set it apart from everything else. The taillights were moved down into the roll pan using LED strips to keep the clean looks going and to keep it entirely street legal. Everywhere you look on this truck you will find a unique and cool custom feature that brings the overall build together. This Jimmy would make an awesome street car to turn some heads and have a blast no matter where you take it! This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom.
