With only 1,500 miles since the rebuild was completed, this Lincoln has now been wrapped in Satin White. For 1973, the Lincoln Continental was brought into compliance with federal crash regulations as it was fitted with a 5-mph front bumper. While many vehicles underwent significant revisions to comply with the regulation, the Continental was able to meet the standard by moving its front bumper several inches forward and fitting it with rubber-tipped impact over-riders. The rear bumper was modified in a similar manner, with a 2 1/2 mph rating; in total, the Continental gained nearly 5 inches in length. When driving this car around, you will be wrapped in luxury and feel as if you are riding on a cloud. This car came well equipped with nearly all power options you could get for the year and cushy leather bench seat both front and rear keeping you and your passengers comfortable on your cruise!
