SeatbeltsOne owner and only 21,367 actual miles on this legendary Mustang Cobra! There were just under 2,000 of these cars ever made and the 03-04 years had massive changes that really set these cars apart from previous years. Nicknamed “The Terminator†Cobra by the SVT team at Ford, these cars were absolute power houses producing upwards of 400HP right from the factory. Ford dropped the solid axle rear suspension in this car and went with a much more capable independent rear. By doing this it made it easy to spot a terminator as it was pulling away from you with the exhaust nearly meeting in the center of the car and then exiting out the slots on either side of the bumper. Powering these cars was the 4.6L V8 that had a roots style supercharger situated on the top that will let out a whine when you press down hard on the throttle.
This Cobra in particular has slightly smaller 2.81†pulley on it increasing the boost and horsepower, but subtle enough where it will not cause damage. To free up a few more horses, there was a Magnaflow cat back system added as well and had a BAMA flash tune done to adjust for the modifications. This 2004 Cobra looks as nice as it did when it rolled off the showroom floor with just a bit more power and fun. Compared to other Mustangs of its time, the terminator Cobras have had their value well and are projected to be on an upward slope in the future.
