The Land Cruiser name has a rich history including being the longest production model of Toyota that is still in production today. Throughout its 6 decade run the reputation for reliability and rugged durability made this a favorite in the growing SUV market. In addition to passenger space and ample cargo room the high roof line made driver visibility better than most vehicles on the road today.

The example you see here has delivered many years of reliable service and is ready for many more to come. Featuring a full restoration completed in 2014, all original components were meticulously restored including the engine, transmission, radiator, fuel tank carburetor, water pump and oil pump. The clutch has also been replaced and new oil pan and valve cover gaskets restored. The entire frame has been epoxy painted as well as the undercarriage. New front leaf springs, shackles, bushings and shocks were added as well as new brakes and a custom exhaust with Flowmaster muffler.

The exterior of this vehicle is just as impressive with new bumpers and bumper ends, shiny red paint. The General 31x10.5x15" tires feature raised red letters that compliment the exterior nicely and are ready for on and off the road. The interior of this FJ-60 is also meticulously restored with the correct seating surfaces, new carpet and a custom Pioneer stereo system with rear speakers. The dash and even the steering wheel are free of any cracks and all systems operate correctly. The lack of over-the-top electrical gadgetry make this vintage SUV easy to own and easy to fix. One turn of the key and this 4.0 Liter fires right up and idles very nice. The 4-speed transmission shifts very nice and smooth and will get this durable Toyota up to highway speeds effortlessly. Power steering and brakes make motoring around town a true pleasure.
