This truck began its life as a light duty truck used in Alabama away from snow and salt. After being acquired because of it being a very solid truck from new a restoration was completed including a very nice paint job. This black beauty looks great from any angle and these old Fords are becoming increasingly collectible and sought after and this is a very nice clean example. Options on this shortbed include working air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, power windows including a sliding rear window and a smooth shifting C4 automatic transmission. A heavy duty bead liner was added to protect the bed and keep everything looking tidy.
Under the hood you will see the original 400 cubic inch V8 that starts right up and runs fantastic. The undercarriage of this truck looks fantastic and is a true testament to its easy life in a dry southern climate. An upgraded stereo system with adjustable bass was added and the period correct interior looks amazing. New parts on this old 'gal include an aluminum radiator, gas tank, sending unit and power steering pump.
