Lee Iacocca was the Vice President of Ford at the time and referred to the popularity of the Mustang craze as a "Home Run" for Ford. The little 4-seater 2-door car was soon seen everywhere and was the most successful launch by ford since the Model A.
This Wimbledon White over black beauty is ready cruise and features a recently rebuilt 289 cubic inch V8, 4V Edelbrock Carb, Comp Cam, lifter and dual timing chain, ceramic headers and dual exhaust with turbo mufflers. The C4 transmission shifts very nice and the 3:50 rear axle ratio makes cruising on the highway effortless. A California car from new, this pony has Vintage Corbeau bucket seats with matching back seat, original loop-style carpeting and upgraded AM/FM Stereo with CD and remote control. In addition to the engine rebuild the radiator and battery were recently replaced.
