Less than 34,000 miles later, this vehicle is still ready to hit the road again and provide the same comfortable and sturdy ride that these old Lincolns are famous for. This 19 foot dream boat is truly a time warp back to a time when design, luxury and engineering went into every American car produced. Modern Lincoln wheels and Vogue whitewall tires give this Lincoln just a touch of modern accent that compliments the vintage style.
This ’74 beauty features the ever popular and ultra-reliable 460 cubic inch V8 engine producing 212 horsepower and tons of torque. Due to a lowered compression the 1974 models are able to run on regular gas and do not require premium. The C6 transmission was in production from 1966 until the 1990’s and is one of the most celebrated transmissions of the time. The low original mileage and superior maintenance over the 40+ years has made this vehicle a comfortable and reliable classic. Lincoln made a lot less vehicles compared to Cadillac at the time and true original survivors are becoming harder to find and coveted by collectors.
This vehicle shows very well and the paint and brightwork glisten under the lights of our indoor showroom. The rounded spare tire hump and teardrop wheel wells mesh nicely with the long hood and opera windows creating a look that demands attention.
