This Mustang is one of the third generation Mustangs credited with restoring the Mustang's high performance reputation. And this Mustang is all about high performance; its 302 CID-V8 was rebuilt last year, including a MSD electronic ignition, new headers, and Flowmaster mufflers. This powerplant is mated to a rebuilt, heavy duty T-5 transmission with a King Cobra clutch and a BBK clutch quadrant, all of which push the power to a 3:73 rear end. With only 1,000 miles on the engine rebuild, this hot Mustang also boasts new brakes, shocks, springs, upper and lower tubular control arms, and Goodyear Eagle F-1 tires mounted on aluminum alloy Mustang wheels. The body is recently refinished in two-tone Phantom Black Pearl and Phantom Grey Pearl, with red accent stripes, exterior hood locks, and new weather stripping. The interior is grey cloth and amenities include AM/FM cassette, air conditioning, manual sunroof, power windows, driver and passenger airbags, power locks, power seats, lumbar support, power locks, and seat belts.
