Vinyl InteriorGateway Classic Cars of Chicago is proud to present this clean 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS tribute. Under the hood is a powerful 454 cubic inch big block Chevrolet V8. Power is sent through a 700R4 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission to the rear wheels. This Chevelle is painted a glass-like later of Cranberry Red with Black racing stripes over a black vinyl interior. The gauges were replaced during the restoration and show just over 1,400 miles since the build was completed. A look through the photos will show just how much care and effort went into making this a top quality restoration. The underside is just as clean as the top, and a small fortune was spent to get this Chevelle to look as clean as it is. Several upgrades are found under the hood, such as tubular upper control arms, long-tube headers, CPP chrome brake master cylinder, and an Optima red top battery. This Chevelle is sure to make you smile. Starting the engine immediately increases the attention you will get, thanks to the lumpy cam. The "old car" exhaust smell fills the area as the engine lumps away. Drop the shifter into drive and roast the rear tires from every stop light!
