Vinyl InteriorGateway Classic Cars of Chicago is very proud to present this very well restored 1966 Ford Mustang. Though badged as a 289, a strong running 302 cubic inch V8 is tucked under the hood. Adding to the "sleeper" status, the shift knob shows a 4-speed pattern, but its actually a Tremec T5 5-speed manual transmission. Virtually every major and minor component of this turquoise beauty has been gone through, making it an extremely pleasant car to look at as well as drive. A hydraulic clutch makes the feedback much more modern. Not only has the driveline been modernized, but a Vintage Air A/C system was fitted, a Retro-Sounds radio was installed, and a fresh set of rims and tires were bolted on to round out the experience that this Mustang gives.
With a very clean underside, fresh paint, and all the goodies bringing this 1966 up to the modern times, there is nothing left for you to want out of this Mustang... except to take it for a drive!
