This subcompact sport convertible has spent the last 40+ years in California and only recently was brought to the Chicagoland area. With just a touch over 51,300 miles that are believed to be actual, this 1500cc inline 4-cylinder engine has plenty of miles left to bring you on all sorts of adventures. The 4-speed manual transmission effortlessly drops into all gears and doesn't whine or grind. Attributing to the health of the engine, it passed smog in 2020 with no issues or delays.
A plethora of parts have been replaced as recent maintenance to get the vehicle as “new" as possible without going through the downtime of a full restoration. Including those parts are a rebuilt carb, new air filter, distributor cap and 8mm spark plug wires, Champion spark plugs, coolant expansion tank, new fluids throughout, new battery, new front strut bushings, new OEM wiper blades, and new tires with roughly 200 miles on them! This MG drives better than new and sticks to the road like its on rails.
