The Chevrolet Corvette (C2) is the second generation of the Corvette sports car, produced by the Chevrolet division of General Motors (GM) for the 1963 through 1967 model years. For 1964 Chevrolet made only evolutionary changes to the Corvette. Due to concerns over rear visibility, the coupe's two piece split rear window was dropped in favor of a single piece of arched glass. Coupe volume dropped to 8304 units, but convertible sales more than compensated, rising to 13,925.
This particular St. Louis plant built example saw a full restoration in the 1990s and present extremely well! Under the hood of this beauty is a 327-cubic-inch V8 mated to a Muncie 4-Speed Manual Transmission. Finished in White over a Red upholstered interior and a Black vinyl soft top, this top tier White over Red Corvette is set off by the wood grain steering wheel. Under current ownership this C2 has seen some nice upgrades including a power AND front disc brake conversion, Power Steering, Vintage Air A/C, and a tilt steering column.
