Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is proud to represent this 1967 Ford Galaxie 500 Fastback! The Ford Galaxie is a full-sized car that was built in the United States by Ford for model years 1959 through to 1974. The name was used for the top models in Ford's full-size range from 1958 until 1961, in a marketing attempt to appeal to the excitement surrounding the Space Race. in 1963, a lower, fastback roofline was added mid-year to improve looks and make the big cars more competitive on the NASCAR tracks with less drag and reduced aerodynamic lift at high speed.
This particular '67 Fastback example is powered by a 351-cubic-inch Windsor engine with an upgraded camshaft, Edelbrock performance intake, Holley 670 Carburetor, Headman Headers, and Magnaflow exhaust sending power to the 9-inch Positraction rear end through and automatic transmission utilizing a Street Performance Stall Converter. The well-kept interior was lightly restored and kept original in the process with the exception of a custom wood grain steering wheel. The all original body is in great shape and retains the original trim! Front disc brakes and rear air shocks have also been added, and this beast now sits on America Racing rims! If you are in the market for a well put together Fastback Galaxie 500, this 1967 example is for you! To see more HD pictures and videos please visit GatewayClassicCars.com.
