Thanks to a battle proven track record spanning over three decades, a HUMVEE is a reliable off-road commodity! Under the hood is the venerable 6.2l diesel V8, that generates 150hp at 3,000rpm, backed by a three-speed automatic transmission with a two-speed, locking, chain-driven transfer case. A defining feature is the A-arm independent suspension at all four corners, with coil springs and hydraulic double-acting shock absorbers for high off-road mobility.
