Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is proud to represent this 1951 Chevrolet Pickup! The Chevrolet 3100 (also known as the Chevrolet Advance Design and the GMC New Design) is an American classic two-door pickup truck manufactured by Chevrolet. It is part of the Advance Design series that was launched on Saturday, June 28, 1947, replacing the AK Series and lasted until March 25, 1955 (when the Task Force series replaced the line) with various minor changes over the years, with the 1951 model year being the sixth model. Updates to the 1951 model year include vent windows on both doors, 8 boards per bed, an 80 MPH speedometer, chrome window handle knobs and a chrome wiper knob.
This particular 1951 model has been recently restored to a very high standard and the attention to detail is clear! From the Deep Blue Metallic paint to the custom wooden bed with paint matched cover, this '51 definitely stands out from the pack. Under the hood is a small block crate motor backed by an automatic transmission. Additional upgrades include front coilover suspension, disc brakes front and rear, rack and pinion power steering, fuel cell under the bed, air conditioning, and custom interior. If you are in the market for a truck that is ready to win shows, this 1951 Chevrolet 3100 restomod should be a top contender!
