Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is proud to present this 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air. Rolling into the '50s Chevrolet was looking to enter a new car in the market and replace the aging fleet. The Bel Air was a fresh design but had limited trims for its first generation between '50-'54. The Bel Air would see 7 generations spanning 2 decades in the United States. One thing is for certain, the second generation took the market by storm. Even today, over 65 years later these tri-five (55-57) Chevys are beloved by many across multiple generations. This Bel Air is painted in silver with an updated black cloth and vinyl interior. This 55 has "C" in its vin which determines this Chevy is a Bel Air. Powering this 55 chevy is a crate 350 backed by a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission. A nice strong 12-Bolt rear end help ensure the ponies get sent to the wheels. The new starter, battery, and alternator help ensure it starts right up. This Bel Air went through an older restoration and is showing 8,927 on the odometer. Some additional features include Power Brakes with disc up front and drums in the rear, Coil over suspension, and Power Steering and Tilt-Wheel. If you're looking to experience the joy, the nostalgia, the internal happiness and all-around good feelings that come with owning a Bel Air. Give our sales staff a call today to learn more!
