The curb appeal is finished off with painted removable T-Tops, Rally wheels, chrome bumpers, and Stingray badging. Powering this beast is a 350 CID Small Block V8 engine that makes 300 Horsepower and 380 Lb-Ft of torque from factory with a compression ratio of 10.25:1 that is mated to a 4-speed manual transmission pushing the power to the ground. The C3 is the third generation of the Chevrolet Corvette and marks the second time the Corvette would carry the Stingray name, though only for the 1969 - 1976 model years. This time it was a single word as opposed to Sting Ray as used for the 1963 - 1967 C2 generation. The name would then be retired until 2014 when it returned with the release of the C7. 1972 (Aug. 1971 prod) was the last model year for chrome bumpers at both front and rear. This Monza Red Corvette has had many new items installed over the last year with receipts to document the restoration. This Vette’ has had a new wiring harness installed, new gauges (Fuel, Amp, Coolant Temp, Oil Pressure, and a new Clock). A new clutch, flywheel, throw out bearing and pilot bearing have been installed. This Vette has been fitted with new shock absorbers as well as leaf springs and supports in the rear. It also has stainless steel calipers installed.
