The original Plymouth Duster is a semi-fastback two-door coupe version of the compact-sized Plymouth Valiant automobile that was marketed by Plymouth in the U.S. from 1970 to 1976 model years. Numerous trim and option package variants of the Duster were offered with names that included Feather Duster, Gold Duster, Silver Duster, Space Duster, Duster Twister, Duster 340, and Duster 360 but this Duster gas been swapped with a 440 Big Block V8 backed by a 727 automatic transmission with a manual valve body. This Duster has a narrowed 8 and ¾ inch rear end with 3.55 gears. This Plymouth has dual Edelbrock quad intake carburetors. Owner states the engine has been bored .030 over with comp cams and roller rockers. The manual valve body is controlled with a B & M pro ratchet shifter. This Plymouth has been fitted with a 15-gallon fuel cell in the trunk.
