This fine example is powered by a rebuilt 1962 413 cu in bored .60 over, w/ forged crank, ported 906 heads, dynoed at 370-hp, with 10,000-miles since rebuild. The powerplant is mated to the bush button Torqueflite automatic transmission, w/ shift kit, and Dana posi-traction rear end w/ 3:91 gears. The engine is dressed w/ an Edelbrock Torker II aluminum intake manifold, and 750 carb, Edelbrock Black valve covers and air cleaner, and a set of ceramic headers, w/ 3" exhaust. The chassis was updated as well, with Fatman 2" drop spindles, Just Suspension kit, front disc brake conversion.This Polara was painted in 2001 Ivory, w/ Turquoise insert, with new or re-chromed trim, emblems, and bumpers - that shows very well! In fact GCC would go as far to say near show quality - and would make any owner happy to have! Her interior is very much original - and matches the theme outside in vinyl - and for a 56-yr old - she looks very good - with minor patina! Her interior has, the famous push-button transmission, bucket seats, console, along with Auto Meter Volts, Oil, Temp, and Tach - just for the information you need. You can tell this car has been well taken care of through the years! This car runs as good as it looks, offering the new owner a vehicle you won't see at every car show.
